All contractors performing work in unincorporated Cook County are required to register with the Department of Building & Zoning.
Registration Fees: The initial registration fee is $150.00 per trade. To keep your registration active, there's an annual fee of $75.00 per trade, due by December 31st each year. This is required to maintain your registration with our department.
